Jordan falls 7-1 in 1st Round of State Playoffs The Falcons lose 7-1 vs Apex in the 1st Round of the NC State Playoffs. Jordan
closes the season with an overall record of 18-6 and 11-1 in the PAC-6. We would like to thank all the parents, fans,
and supporters of the Jordan Baseball Program. We would especially like to thank the 8 wonderful seniors from the 2012
team for all of their hard work and dedication over the past 4 years.

Round 1 State Playoff Game: Apex vs
Jordan @ 7PM on Friday (5/11). Jordan
finished in a first place tie at the top of the PAC-6. Jordan and East Chapel Hill are Co-Champions. On Tuesday
morning, East Chapel Hill won a coin flip and will be the #1 seed out of the PAC-6. Jordan will be the #2 seed.
Falcons win 12-1 @ Riverside The Falcons close the regular season with a 12-1 win @ Riverside.
Jordan was led on the mound by Markus Koeneke who pitched a complete game while scattering 4 hits and striking out 9 Pirate
batters. The win improves Koeneke's record to 6-1. The Falcon offense was led by Wood Myers (4-5, 2B, HR, 4 RBI),
Tim Hampton (3-4, 2B, 2RBI), and Carter Dillard (1-2, HR, 2RBI). The win means that Jordan finishes in a tie with East
Chapel Hill for the PAC-6 Championship. Both teams finished with a conference record of 11-1.
Jordan rallies late to win 11-8
vs Person on Senior Night The
Falcons rally from 5-0 defecit to win on Senior Night at Davis Field vs Person. Senior Markus Koeneke picks up his 5th
win of the season as he pitches 3 & 2/3 innings of scoreless relief. The offense was led by Senior Nathan Finger
(2-4, 2B, RBI) and Wood Myers (2-3, 3B, 5 RBI). We would like to thank all 8 of our seniors for their commitment and
dedication to the Jordan Baseball Program. The win keeps Jordan in a 1st place tie in the PAC-6 with one conference
game remaining. The Falcons close the regular season at Riverside on Monday evening at 7PM.
Jordan beats Hillside 16-4 The Falcons win 16-4 at Hillside on Friday evening. Chris Lynch picks up the win to improve
to 4-0 on the season. The Win keeps Jordan in a first place tie in the PAC-6 entering the final week of league play.
The Falcons return to action Tuesday evening at 7PM at home against Person.
Jordan beats Southern 9-0 The Falcons win 9-0 against Southern in a PAC-6 Conference game at Davis Field on Tuesday evening.
Four Jordan pitchers (Elliott Bentley, Steven Oakley, Chris Lynch, and Wood Myers) combine to pitch a no-hitter. The
offense was paced by Wood Myers who hit his first home run of the season and also drove in 4 runs. The Falcons remain tied at the top of the PAC-6 with only 3 games remaining. Jordan returns to action
at Hillside on Friday evening at 7PM.
Jordan wins at Northern 11-8 The Falcons rallied late to win at Northern 11-8 on Friday night.
Alex Raburn(HR, 2 RBI) and Wood Myers (2B, 3 RBI) led the Jordan offense.
Tyler Barnes picks up his third win of the season with 4 1/3 strong innings in relief. The win keeps Jordan in
a first place tie in the PAC-6 at 7-1.

Jordan beats East Chapel
Hill 9-0 The Jordan Falcons win 9-0 Tuesday night
against a very good East Chapel Hill team on "Field of Dreams" night at Davis Field. Chris Lynch pitched a
terrific complete game, striking out 10 Wildcat batters while only allowing 2 hits. The Jordan bats alson come alive,
led by Markus Koeneke (2-3, RBI, 2B, R, SB), Tim Hampton (2-3, RBI, R), and Elliott Bentley (1-4, 3 RBI, R). The win
ties Jordan with East Chapel Hill for first place in the PAC-6 at 6-1. The Falcons return to play Friday night at Northern
High School. JV Wins 8-4 at East Chapel Hill
Falcons go 1-2 in the 2012 Hilltop
Invitational The Jordan Falcons struggle this year
in the Hilltop Invitational. Cardinal Gibbons scores 2 runs in the top of the 8th to down the Falcons 5-3 on Thursday
afternoon. The Falcons rebound to a 12-3 win vs Cedar Ridge on Friday morning. Jordan concludes the tournament
by losing 12-2 on Saturday afternoon to Glenn in the 5th place game. The Falcons will not play any games next week due
to Spring Break and will return to action Tuesday, April 17 hosting PAC-6 leader East Chapel Hill 7PM.
Jordan beats Riverside 12-2 The Falcons win Pac-6 showdown vs Riverside 12-2 @ Davis Field. Jordan was led
on the mound by Markus Koeneke, who spread 5 hits over 5 innings while striking out 10 Pirate batters. The win improves
Markus' record to 4-0 for the season. At the plate, Jordan collected 12 hits and were led by Steven Oakley (2-3, 2 2B,
5 RBI) and Joe Mangili (2-3, 3B, RBI). The win pushes Jordan's recored to 11-3 and 5-1 in the Pac-6. The Falcons
return to action Thursday afternoon @ 4PM in the Hilltop Invitational @ Cedar Ridge High School.
Jordan wins 3-0 vs Orange The Falcons split season series with Orange with a 3-0 win at Davis Field on Thursday evening.
The Falcons were led on the mound by Chris Lynch who pitches a complete game, allowing only 3 hits while striking out 10.
Wood Myers drove in the first run and Alex Raburn's 2 RBI single later in the inning finished the Falcon scoring.
Falcons win 2-1 @ Wakefield Jordan wins 2-1 against a good Wakefield team on Wednesday afternoon. Tyler Barnes pitches
a terrific complete game in his first start of the year. Joey Mangili drives in the tying run in the top of the sixth
and Alex Raburn brings home the winning run with a double in the seventh inning.
Jordan Wins @ Person 1-0 As the Falcon bats struggle, Markus Koeneke pitches a one hit shutout registering 15Ks. The
win pushes Jordan's record to 8-3 (4-1) with non-conference Wakefield and Orange remaining this week.
Jordan Wins 11-2 vs Hillside The Falcons offense comes to life in an 11-2 Win vs Hillside at Davis Field.
Jordan wins @ Southern 10-0
Make-up date with Southern has been set for March 22, Thursday at 5:00pm. Also, Hit a Thon forms
were sent home yesterday and we've already had some online activity. Please help your student-athletes as much as possible
so that we have a successful fundraiser. Thanks for all you do.

Jordan Wins 10-0 against Wake Forest
- Rolesville The offense paces the Falcons
to a 10-0 win at Davis Field. Wood Myers, Alex Raburn, and Markus Koeneke each have multiple hits for the Falcons.
Markus Koeneke pitches 4 very strong innings before giving way to Joey Mangili who closes things out.
Falcons Win against Enloe
14-4 Jordan wins at home against Enloe.
The Falcons had a strong outing on the mound by starter Kerry Walker, Matt Tilley, and Tyler Barnes. At the plate,
Jordan was led by Wood Myers (3-4, 2B, 3B, RBI. 2R). Markue Koeneke and Tim Hampton each had a 2B and 3 RBIs.

for both JV and Varsity. Game has been rescheduled for Wednesday 3/7 @ 4PM for both teams. (Varsity is home and

Falcons Rally to 6-5 Win vs Panther Creek
Falcons rally late to a win over a tough Panther Creek squad.
Kerry Walker pitched 2 strong innings and contributed with 2 RBIs on a double in the 4th to kick off the Jordan scoring.
Jack Slavin picks up the winning RBI on a bases loaded single in the bottom of the 7th. Steven Oakley picks up his first career
win for the Falcons.
JVs fall 7-4 to Panther Creek
Falcons Win Season Opener 11-3 The Falcons start
the 2012 Season with an 11-3 win at Enloe. Lynch, Mangili, Walker, and Barnes combine on a strong outing on the mound.
The offense was paced by Koeneke, Slavin, and Tilley who all went deep.
JV Game Cancelled!! JV game scheduled for 02/28
has been cancelled. Make-up date has been scheduled for 03/15 at 4PM.
The 2012 season is at hand!!! The Falcons
have a tough non-conference schedule, including Enloe, Panther Creek, Wakefield, Leesville Road, Wake Forest - Rolesville,
and Orange. The PAC-6 looks to be strong again this year as the Falcons look to compete for another PAC-6 Championship.
